Our programs are located at schools throughout Seattle, including at Daniel Bagley, West Woodland, Laurelhurst, TOPS K-8, Madrona and Thurgood Marshall. We run after-school enrichment programs on various days & times. We also run full-day break camps (e.g. Winter, Spring, and Summer Break) throughout the year. We work primarily with students in Grades 1-5. We are looking for staff, who wish to combine their passion for working with kids, environmental education, and the outdoors.  We are looking for staff who have unique skill sets (e.g. life guarding, astronomy, etc), want to grow with the organization, and develop our program as a member of a team.

Assistant Lead: (taking applications for Spring & Summer ‘23)

Should have an interest and some experience in one of the following fields - education, environmental education, early childhood development, any of the sciences. Some college hours in the above fields is preferred. We are looking for motivated individuals looking to gain experience in the classroom, field, and with curriculum development. SUMMER hours are 40 hr/wk (e.g. 8:30am-4:30pm) Mon-Fri, while hours during the Academic year can be more flexible 12-20 hrs/wk (2:30 pm-5:30 pm) Mon-Thurs. An ideal candidate would meet all of these criteria, while other candidates may still be considered. The pay rate is $17.50-19/hr DOE.
