Adventurers Overview

Our small groups travel to some of the most beautiful and natural places in the Pacific Northwest to build their community. On an Adventurers trip you will explore the wilderness through a variety of exciting and fun activities including backpacking, rock climbing, river rafting, mountaineering, biking, yoga, back country cooking, and creative writing. All trips are entirely planned and run by student staff, with adult chaperones who supervise the activities.

Orientation Date: Dec. 15-16th

Time: 10am - 3pm       Ages: 6th-8th grade

Costs: $50 (can be put towards full tuition)

The Adventurers program focuses on student-run trips for our middle schoolers, where we encourage environmental awareness, self-confidence, leadership, diversity, community, and knowledge of the outdoors through hands-on learning. While navigating the challenges of the wilderness, participants get to see what they are truly capable of.

Social development

Mindfulness practices are interwoven to help students further develop their social and emotional intelligence and executive function skills.
