At the moment, Summer camps will run as scheduled starting on July 6th. This however is subject to change with any new information. With the peak having passed on April 6th and the "Stay at Home" order being lifted soon, we're hopeful things will settle down before July. As our camps are outdoors and in small groups, we believe that they are the best option for any type of childcare. We will however have additional modifications (masks for staff & campers, wellness/temperature checks, staying separated in even smaller groups of 6 or less, supervised hand washing, sanitizing frequently used items, etc). We will also modify all activities to avoid close-quarter contact and any large gathering areas/groups of people. Our hope is that campers will spend the majority of their time hiking and playing in the woods. If we have to cancel camp (e.g. Governor's orders) during the summer, then we will offer full refunds for any unused portions. With all the craziness/uncertainty going on around us, we're hoping to provide a little fun and normalcy at Pinnacle this summer.
The safety of our Pinnacle community is a top priority for us, but we also understand the need for childcare/enrichment for many families.
We have made the decision to offer modified camps during the school closure. We will be taking the necessary precautions to help prevent the spread (e.g. temperature/wellness checks, supervised hand washing, social distancing/small groups, disinfecting equipment, and hand sanitizer). These week-long full-day (9am-4pm) camps will cost $325. Additional early drop-off @ 8:30am and after-care from 4-6pm will be offered at no additional charge. If you are interested, please email Admin@PinnacleExplorations.org. Priority to will be given to medical/first responder families.
We are mindful that the decision to stay open may change.
